The river
is yours.
Not a seat with 12 strangers. Your own packraft, a hand-picked stretch of the Ötztaler Ache — and guides never more than a boat length away.
Your way down the river
Meet at the base
Arrive, fit your gear, safety briefing — then we head off together.
Up the valley
We drive up the Ötztal to a stretch of river picked for its scenery and its whitewater.
Real whitewater
First strokes until the packraft feels right — then wave trains, spray, adrenaline. You steer your own boat, with guides never more than a boat length away.
The take-out
We take out right at the river further up the valley. Get changed, high-fives — and usually one question: "When can we come back?"

Whitewater Packrafting Tour
Packrafting adventure on the Oetztaler Ache — guided by professionals, in small groups.
Packrafting Adventure Day
The ultimate whitewater experience

Standard Rafting vs. Packrafting
In traditional rafting, you sit in a boat with up to 12 other people, and the guide controls the boat. You’re basically just the engine, following commands. In packrafting, you paddle your own boat — same river, completely different experience!
What our guests say
“Absolutely one of the best experiences ever! Our instructor Bernie was fantastic — super friendly, professional, and made everything feel easy. 100% recommend!!!”
“Had great experiences today. A very good opportunity to gather your first experiences in whitewater. The packrafts provide the optimal platform for an inexperienced person. They are easy to handle and you get the experience right away. Thanks for today's tour”
“We almost skipped this and I'm so glad we didn't. The water is serene, fast, and the scenery going down the valley is just so so good. Mo was our instructor and he was great — calm, clearly knew the river, and good at figuring out how much we could actually handle without making it feel like a lesson. I'd been whitewater rafting before and honestly this beats it. You're right down at the water in your own boat so every wave feels way bigger, but I never once felt unsafe. The owner is what makes the place though. Super friendly, went through everything in detail beforehand, the kind of guy who actually cares whether you have a good time. No upselling, no standing around waiting. Do it if you're anywhere near Oetz.”
“We walked past and spontaneously asked if we could go kayaking. They were very flexible, and we were able to join the very next day. The welcome and explanation were superb: clear instructions and special kayaks that allow for an accessible start. We were given wetsuits, taken to the starting point, and received excellent guidance there as well. Vali is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, with a great passion for kayaking. During the trip, we learned many techniques and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. I can never look at a river the same way again. About 3 hours on the water, perfectly organized. Accessible, educational, and great fun, even for beginners. They match your level well to the pace and the route. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“Due to its recent launch, there aren't many reviews yet, but it's highly recommended! We kayaked in the Ötztal Valley with excellent guidance. Despite some challenges along the way, we had a wonderful morning. We'll definitely be back!”
